On 1 June the MUD Walking group did a joint visit with the equivalent group in Tavy District u3a to Drake’s Island. Thirty two members took the boat on a very hot, sunny and clear day to look at the history and architecture of the island. The group enjoyed a spirited commentary provided by Bob the warden, who was also the speaker at the monthly meeting in February.
