Helping your Plymouth u3a
It would really help us if you were able to offer some of your time to ensure the continual running of Plymouth u3a’s Executive Committee.
Next year (2025) we are losing some important Executive Committee positions, with some of the current Officers standing down at the end of their tenure. A tenure usually lasts for 2-3 years.
We are asking for members who would be able to step into the roles of Membership Secretary, Group’s Coordinator, Secretary and Events Organiser as at July 2025.
Prior to this, those who are interested would join the Committee to learn how these roles are done. A basic level of computer skills are necessary and training and support will be provided.
I really believe for those of you with some time to spare that you will enjoy being part of the team which organises the administration of Plymouth u3a. If you feel that you would rather have a role on the Committee which just takes responsibility for individual tasks which arise from time to time then again, you would be more than welcome.
