A message from our Chairman, Lorraine Robinson

From time to time I inform you of requests for volunteers to partake in PhD Research projects generated by the University of Plymouth. There is always a good response to these.

I have now received a request from The Agile Research Team at University Hospitals Plymouth (Derriford) which is part of a wider Research and Development team at the Hospital. They are employed by the NHS and often recruit for volunteers to take part in clinical trials for new vaccines which have been successful in initial tests and are now being subjected to testing on a larger number of people.

Would you be interested in putting your name down on their Recruitment Register? The Recruitment Team are looking for a number of people who would be interested in receiving information about the development of new vaccines being tested with the possibility that they would like to choose perhaps some of these trails to participate in.
